Not particularly demanding, this via ferrata requires little physical effort which is why it is well suited for beginners. It is fully protected by a metal cable that runs alongside the entire length of the path and ends at Cima Colodri, with lovely views of Arco below, and Lake Garda in the distance.

The Ferrata Colodri itinerary

From the center of the town, a short walk takes you in the direction of our Climbing Stadium, and not long after to the beginning of the route at the foot of Mount Colodri. The path develops on easy rocks, alternating horizontal sections on an exposed path, short climbing passages and stairs that help to overcome short but vertical sections. The via ferrata takes us to the top of the mountain and its iron cross from where we can admire a 360° view on the Sarca Valley, the surrounding mountains and the Garda Lake.

The route back is on a pleasant path that runs on the other side of the mountain, at first northward, crossing the path coming from Mount Colt, and then downward in west direction, passing close to the crag 'Muro dell’Asino', until it reaches Laghel. We take the road that goes across beautiful olive groves until we reach Arco, passing by the foot of the castle and though the old part of town.
