From the date of the first ascent to the summit, 8th August 1786, and for all subsequent eras, the history of mountaineering has taken inspiration from this complex and fascinating mountain, which is now in every mountaineer’ bucket list. A must-do that cannot be missed!

Long mountain route at high altitude, it requires excellent physical condition and good training. From a technical point of view, although it is not difficult, a strong familiarity in using crampons and ice axes is necessary.

The ascent

2 days ascent

1 day --> 
Ascent from Les Houches by lift and rack train to Nid d'Aigle, 2372 mt. Then ascent to the Gou?ter refuge 3815 mt, where you will stay overnight.
2 day--> 
Departure in the middle of the night, ascent to the summit 4810 mt and return to the valley directly.


3 days ascent 

1 day -->
From Chamonix in the morning go up by Les Houches cable car to Bellevue and from there by Tramway du Mont Blanc and train to Nid d'Aigle hut 2372 mt. Continue on trail to the Tete Rousse refuge 3165 mt.
2 day -->
Depart before dawn to cross the Aiguille du Gou?ter gully, exposed to rockfall, in the best possible conditions, following the cable-equipped route then climb to the Gou?ter refuge 3815 mt. From here continue to the summit of Mont Blanc which will be reached mid-day. Short break at the summit and descend again to stay overnight at the Gou?ter hut.
3 day -->
Depart early in the morning so as to cross the Gou?ter couloir when conditions are still favorable, descent to the Nid d'Aigle refuge from where train and cable car will take us back to the valley.

Each Guide can take a maximum of 2 people.

Included in the fee: Guidance and teaching by the mountain guide, Use of common equipment, Equipment rental (ice-axe, crampons, harness, helmet). 

Not included in the fee: Round-trip travel expenses, guide's trip expenses (to be divided among participants if the trip is not shared), cable car, train, overnight stay at the refuges with 1/2 board and overnight stay in the hotel down in the valley, expenses of the guide (overnight stay, facilities) and anything not specified under "The fee includes".

 Equipment provided by Mountime: helmet, harness, ice-ax and crampons

Personal equipment: Layered mountain clothing, warm windproof jacket, gloves and hat, sun glasses and suns cream, trekking boots (preferably crampon-compatible), backpack with water, energy snacks, and a change of clothes for 1 night stay.
