The Lyngen Alps are located above the Arctic Circle in Norway. The town of Tromsø is the capital of the Northern Lights, and in this region, the mountains rise up from the sea.
Wild mountains overlooking the icy waters of the north, descents on immaculate snow towards the high fjords overlooking the sea, northern lights accompanying us as we return from our outings. A journey, a course, a sound!

Imagine skiing with a privileged view of the Norwegian fjords, on the best snow, and descending until you reach the sea—a dream, a priceless adventure. The Lyngen Alps offer an infinite number of trails of all levels that start right by the sea! In this region, the ski mountaineering season begins in February and ends in May.
Daily outings vary from 800 to 1200 meters of elevation gain, and the technical ability required for downhill skiing is intermediate to advanced. (No one is stopping us from doing two excursions a day.) If the group is homogeneous and experienced, more challenging itineraries can also be identified.
Participants will learn how to assess snow conditions, use personal ski mountaineering equipment correctly, and carry out a proper search for someone lost in an avalanche.
Registration: by November 30, 2025, and payment of the full fee by January 28, 2026.
Day 1: Flight from Milan to Tromsø with a stopover in Oslo.
Days 2-7: A different destination every day, discovering this Nordic paradise for ski mountaineering. The program and destination of the excursions will be agreed with the participants based on the level and abilities of the group, as well as the weather conditions and snow conditions.
During the trips, it will be possible to encounter herds of wild reindeer that inhabit these lands.
The elevation gain of the trips varies between 800m and 1200m.
During each trip, aspects such as snowpack assessment, safety in progression, use of self-rescue devices, etc. will be explored and addressed.
Day 8: Breakfast, transfer to the airport, and return to Italy.
Registration: by November 30, 2025, with a deposit of € 500 and the obligation to pay the full amount by January 28, 2026.

Climate
In March, the forecast says that average temperatures range between -5° and +5° with little chance of precipitation and therefore generally good visibility, but every year the weather conditions are different here in the Alps, they change very quickly, you may wake up to sunshine and within a few hours there may be snowfall and then sunshine again in quick succession.
