Tignale or Vione Canyon is an excellent choice for those who are looking for something a little more challenging, but do not want to exaggerate. The first section is simple and satisfying, while the second becomes gradually steeper. Waterfalls and deep gorges are the scenery that awaits you in this beautiful gorge.

Jumps are optional, participants can always decide if they wish to jump or be abseiled by the Guide with the use of the rope. For safety reasons it will not be possible to jump higher than 6 meters.
Should the water level be too low and the conditions deemed unsafe, your Guide reserves the right to change the location of the activity, selecting an alternative descent of the same duration and difficulty.
In the morning we reach the hamlet of Piovere, leave the van and get ready by wearing neoprene wetsuits and shoes, harness and helmet.
Walking on a gentle path we’ll reach the entrance of the Canyon where your Guide will hold a short but detailed briefing to illustrate the activity, rules and behaviors to follow in the river.
Let the adventure begin!
The initial part is really pleasant and fun: slides ending in natural pools of clear water, taking us back to childhood memories of water park fun!
Then the canyon changes with increasing steepness, leading us to an open gorge with vertical leaps and pools, surrounded by lush green vegetation lit by the rays of sunshine peeking through the foliage, thus creating an idyllic scenery.
After a series of abseils and slides we’ll reach a longer slide that plunges into a large natural fresh water pool. From here we’ll enter a short section enclosed within a rock formation, which we’ll overcome by abseiling with the rope. Having re-emerged into a more open environment we’ll move onto an exposed traverse and get ready for a 45-meter abseil, which marks the conclusion of the first section.
The last stretch does not present particular difficulties as it entails an easy walk along the river-bed, leading to the final 2 slides that pour into idyllic natural pools. The last 12-meter slide is remarkable, one to remember, not for its difficulty but for its exhilarating fun.. another unforgettable experience to tick off your bucket list!
