This advanced course is addressed to strong skiers with previous ski touring experience, wanting to learn the necessary skills to perform in challenging environments such as steep terrains and glaciers.
The course is divided in two sections, two evening class theory lessons and three days on the mountain, to put into practice the aspects taught.Depending on the snow conditions we will select areas in the Lagorai group, Dolomites and Adamello.
The subjects covered on this course include a variety of aspects, the correct use of equipment (rope, ice ax and crampons), use of digital cartography and GPS systems, and the advanced progression techniques. Plus, we will give you ample opportunities to test your skills on the field, in spectacular locations.

Each Guide can take a maximum of 6 people
Included in the fee: the Guide service, liability insurance, and personal safety equipment if required (ARTVA tranceiver, shovel, probe).
Not included in the fee: anything not mentioned in "included". Travel costs will be divided between participants. Possibility to spend one or more nights in a hut, to be agreed with participants.
Equipment provided by Mountime: personal safety equipment (ARTVA tranceiver, shovel and probe).
Personal equipment: complete ski touring equipment, ice ax, ice crampons, ski crampons, adequate clothing including warm gloves and hat, sun glasses, backpack, hot drinks, food and energy snacks, a change of clothing.
Should you require specific gear please let us know, we will do our best to help you, and in case we will refer you to one of our recommended ski rental shops.
