Tignale itinerary

From the district of Piovere, on the Garda lake, we get ready wearing neoprene wet suit and socks, harness and helmet. With a pleasant flat walk on a small path we reach the entrance of the canyon, where in a fresh pool the Mountain Guides will make a short but detailed briefing to explain the activity, the rules and the behaviors to keep.

It’s time to begin the adventure! With a sequence of abseiling and rock slides we reach a long last slide ending in a big pool. From here starts a closed section dug in the rocks that in short time take us, thanks to a succession of abseils, take down to where the environment opens again.Over passed an exposed traverse we reach a 45 m abseil, ending the first section of the river.

Le lower part is easier and it’s mainly made of walk in the riverbed except for two steep and long slides ending in an idyllic pool. Remarkable the last slide, 12 m long, very funny and not steep, unique in it’s kind.
