The Via Ferrata Cima Capi itinerary

In the morning we reach Biacesa in Val di Ledro, a small town located a few kilometers from Lake Garda. Here we take the 45min/1hour path leading to the start of the "Fausto Susatti" or Cima Capi via ferrata.
Wearing the appropriate technical equipment, we begin to climb on the via ferrata. An alternation of easy climbing passages, metal stairs and rock crags takes us along the ridge that stands out above Lake Garda. Spectacular landscapes unravel ahead of us, of the lake, the Sarca valley and the surrounding mountains. The via ferrata is not particularly difficult, but many passages are exposed as the route develops along an aerial ridge, which should not be underestimated.

At the end of the ferrata we have the opportunity to continue along the path that leads to the trenches and tunnels of the First World War, turning our day into an interesting combination of history, nature and sport.

The descent takes place through a majestic beech forest, along an old military road that leads back to Biacesa.
