My name is Federico Monegatti and I am an Alpine Guide. I live in a small mountain village on the Pinè Plateau, immersed in the Lagorai group, in Trentino; woods, small rivers and boots have always been my companions in adventure since I was a child.
At the age of 15, I discovered ski mountaineering and the vertical dimension that the mountains can offer with climbing, whether on rock or ice; today, just like the first time, I am thrilled when I tie the rope to my harness and set off on a new adventure, for pleasure or work.
The work of a mountain guide is unique and special: the people I accompany entrust body and soul into my hands and my knowledge to reach a long-dreamed of peak or to see their child climbing for the first time happy. The result is a wonderful relationship of trust.
