This course is designed for those who already have some basic experience of crag climbing, and aims to teach participants how to tackle a multi-pitch route independently. Whether climbing alone or in pairs, participants will learn the manoeuvres and techniques required to complete a long route with confidence and safety. The course takes place on the crag, where participants will climb and put what they have learnt into practice straight away.

During the lessons, you will learn the knots and rope manoeuvres required to tackle a long route, how to belay the lead climber and the second climber, and how to use quick protection such as nuts and friends.

As this is a course designed for one or two people, the content of the lesson can be tailored to the participants’ needs.
